Privacy Statement for Parker Guitars Forum

If you agree to the terms and conditions stated below, press the "Agree" button. Otherwise, press "Cancel".

Welcome to the Parker Guitars on-line forum. We’re glad to have you participate! Before you go clicking around, however, we’d like to offer a few thoughts to help make your experience more enjoyable, as well as make the forum more useful for everyone who participates.

The categories are there for a reason. If you think there’s a better way of organizing things, feel free to send us an email. But, PLEASE, don’t put posts where they don’t belong.

Want to brag about your setup? Do it in the Equipment, Settings, and Set-Up section.

Musician’s Exchange should be obvious, and can help you meet other Parker Players in the real world.

Show off your sound by posting a link to sound files in the Amp Discussion folder. All styles acceptable, as are all kinds of recordings. It doesn’t have to be a master session for an upcoming major release.

Comments and Suggestions is your chance to offer suggestions to improve the website and the forum. Several ideas have been incorporated into the website and other projects, so take this opportunity to help us help you.

The Announcements and News folder is where our moderators post new information on Parker’s products and happenings, as well as new additions to the web site.

The best way for your question or comment to get lost is to put it in the middle of an on-going thread – unless, of course, it fits into that discussion. For example, don’t brag about your killer rig in someone else’s thread. Start your own so everyone can see what you’re using.

Netiquette

Because we are Parker Guitars, we do require a certain amount of etiquette. However, we don’t want to limit your ability to discuss things. We just want to make sure the discussions stay civil and courteous – unlike some non-moderated boards. Repeated foul language, attacking others and the like will not be tolerated. We understand there are many places on the web where you can scream and yell at others whenever you so choose. Feel free to use them, but don’t do it here.

The best way to make sure you aren’t misunderstood by others is to use “smileys” () or ‹COMMENT› conventions. ‹smile!› Please be respectful of others and their opinions, even when disagreeing. “I disagree with your point” sounds so much better than “You’re dumber than a grapefruit” don’t you think?

If the moderators feel you are out of line, you will receive one warning via email. If you gave a fake email address when you joined, you will lose your chance at a warning. The second time you abuse posting privileges, you will be deleted and we’ll send you an email telling you why. If you go way over the top, you can expect to be deleted immediately and without warning. If you feel you are the victim of such behavior and the moderators haven’t addressed it properly, feel free to e-mail us privately to discuss.

We hope you will enjoy participating in our forum and will feel free to discuss things openly. Again, if you have any suggestions to improve the forum, web site or our products, make sure you let us know.

Sincerely,
Parker Guitars
