Parker Guitars Introduces the DF724KOA Special Order Guitar
Chicago, IL, January, 2013 — Parker Guitars is pleased to announce the addition of the DF724KOA to its USA hand crafted MaxxFly Radial Neck Joint Series. The DF724KOA features a beautiful Koa top with an antique sunburst finish on an Alder body and is only available as a special order.
Through the use of our radial neck joint, the neck is further stabilized, the guitar's tone is enhanced and it allows for easier access to the upper frets. Because of the radiused neck, the joint has no flat, sliding surfaces that would enable the alignment to go off center. The superb fit of the joint allows better transfer of sound from neck to body than on a conventional bolt-on guitar and the contoured design provides clean unrestricted access to the very last fret.
Parker is pleased to offer the uniquely beautiful look of Koa on an affordable, USA made guitar. In addition to the gorgeous Koa top and Alder body, the DF724KOA features a maple neck with ebony fingerboard and stainless steel frets. The undercut single coil routes make swapping out pickups from the single-single-hum Seymour Duncans (SSL6 single and TB14 humbucker) to another type easy. Additionally, the DF724KOA features a Parker vibrato with the Ghost® acoustic piezo saddle system. Controls consist of magnetic volume, magnetic tone with the coils split, 5 way magnetic selector, 3 way magnetic/piezo selector to give the guitar its flexible voicing. A smart jack allows for both stereo or mono output. Along with the included stereo cable, the smart jack gives you the freedom to split your source signal two ways if needed. Send your acoustic piezo signal thru your DI to an acoustic amp or PA, and send your magnetic pickups through your favorite tube amp- the choice is yours!
